MNM Consulting has thirty years of combined experience working with government. In that time, we have developed expertise and built relationships with members of the government on both sides of the aisle. We help you develop legislative strategies based on your individual needs by tracking legislation, direct lobbying, and legislative strategizing.
regulatory ADVOCACY
The Montana Legislature only meets once every two years for 90 days. A lot can happen between sessions, including changes to regulations that could affect your organization. We work with agencies, stakeholders, and policymakers to keep your organization ready to operate.

Pat Noonan
As a legislator, political leader, and through my consulting services, I have had the opportunity to develop relationships and advocate for a diverse spectrum of clients at a local, regional, and federal level. including healthcare, natural resource development, power generation, distribution, technology, and hospitality industries.
NATE MCCONNELL
Nate McConnell served six years in the Montana Legislature. First elected to the House in 2014, Nate was reelected in 2016. In his second term, Nate served as Minority Whip. Nate also served one term in the Senate, winning election in 2018. Throughout his legislative service, Nate has sponsored numerous bipartisan bills, including the Firefighter Protection Act in 2019. Nate earned his law degree in 1998 and has been practicing law in Montana since 2008.
JOHN MALIA
John Malia worked in Max Baucus’ DC office as well as served in the Bullock administration in a number of capacities for eight years. With 20 years of political experience, John has relationships with nearly everyone in every industry across the state, including many in positions of authority in both the Legislature and the Governor’s office.
